To preserve the peaceful, restorative atmosphere of Terra Nova Nordic Spa, we ask all guests to follow the guidelines below. These policies help us maintain a clean, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone.
Quiet & Respectful Atmosphere
Terra Nova Nordic Spa is a place for rest, reflection, and renewal. Please help us maintain a calm environment by keeping your voice low and being mindful of those around you. Please do not disturb resting guests, and kindly respect all quiet areas throughout the spa. Outside speakers or music are not permitted.
Digital-Free Zone
To protect the privacy, comfort, and relaxation of all guests, phones and electronic devices are not permitted in the Nordic Thermal Experience. Because mobile devices contain cameras, this policy is strictly enforced. We invite you to unplug, unwind, and fully immerse yourself in the peaceful spa environment. If a pre-arranged social media influencer is attending, a notice will be posted at reception. Any approved influencer must have signed consent and ensure that no guests appear in photos or videos.
Showering & Spa Cleanliness
A full-body shower is required before entering any pools or thermal areas. To help keep our pools and facilities clean, tinted sunscreens, self-tanners, and similar products that may transfer onto surfaces or into the water are not permitted. No glass containers are permitted anywhere in the spa.
Appropriate Spa Attire
Your visit includes the use of a robe and towels. Guests must wear: a swimsuit & sandals
Swimsuits alone are not permitted outside the Thermal area. Guests visiting the café are welcome to wear their robe, and robes must be worn in the café. Please do not enter relaxation areas in street clothes.
Sauna Etiquette
Please sit on a blue towel in all saunas and the infrared cabin to help maintain cleanliness and comfort for all guests.
Food, Beverages & Hydration
Outside food and beverages are not permitted on the premises. Only water is permitted within the spa areas. Guests are encouraged to bring a reusable, unbreakable water bottle, and multiple water refill stations are available throughout the spa. Suitable bottles may also be purchased on-site if needed. All other food and beverages may be enjoyed in the café.
Alcohol Service
Please note that hot and cold therapy can affect how your body processes alcohol. For guest safety, alcoholic beverages are limited to three drinks per Nordic Thermal Experience. Our team reserves the right to refuse alcohol service when necessary.
Relaxation Spaces
Please do not reserve lounge chairs, water beds, or relaxation spaces with towels or personal belongings. These shared spaces are intended for all guests to enjoy.
Smoking & Vaping
Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco or cannabis products are not permitted anywhere on the spa premises. We thank you for helping us maintain a clean-air, wellness-focused environment for all guests.
No Re-Entry
Guests do not have in-and-out privileges for the Nordic Thermal Experience. Once you leave the spa, re-entry is not permitted.
Reservations
We strongly recommend booking your Nordic Thermal Experience in advance. Walk-ins are welcome only if space is available. Reservations may be made online or by phone at 226-796-9181. Guests must check in by their reservation time, or within 10 minutes of that time, or they may lose priority access to the baths.
Cancellations & Modifications
Please note that cancellation and modification policies apply to all bookings without exception.
Individual Services & Spa Packages
• Cancellations within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment are charged 100% of the service fee
• Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance incur a 50% cancellation fee
Thermal Experience Reservations
Modifications to Nordic Thermal reservations cannot be made within 48 hours of the scheduled visit. Cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to full payment.
Group Bookings
For group reservations totalling 10 or more hours of services, a minimum of 7 days’ notice is required for any changes or cancellations to be eligible for a refund. Changes or cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice are non-refundable.
Late Arrivals
Arriving late may result in a shortened treatment time in order to accommodate the next scheduled guest. Full service fees still apply.
Check-Out Policy
All guests are kindly asked to check out at reception before leaving the facility. If a guest departs without checking out after their treatment, an automatic checkout will be processed, including a 15% gratuity applied to services received.
Inclusive Change Room Option
Terra Nova Nordic Spa is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all guests. A gender-neutral change room is available to support privacy and comfort. If you have specific needs or would like assistance, our team is happy to help.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates may be purchased at the front desk or through our website.
Please note:
• Gift certificates are non-refundable
• Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash
• Monetary gift certificates may be applied at the time of your spa visit
Right to Refuse Service
To protect the safety, comfort, and well-being of all guests, Terra Nova Nordic Spa reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest who does not follow spa guidelines or behaves in a disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful manner.
