What is the gift card/certificate policy?
- Gift certificates can be purchased at our front desk or via our website.
- Please print out online purchased gift cards to be redeemed.
- Please note that there is a 48-hour delay to activate online gift certificates.
- Non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash.
- Monetary gift certificates can be applied at the time of your spa visit.

What are the reservations and cancellation policies?
Guests must be 18 years and over.
An all-inclusive experience: two towels per person, a bathrobe and a locker are provided.
Bathing suit mandatory.
Prices are per person, before taxes.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Reservation is required for massage and spa services.
Gift cards: Gift cards purchased online are delivered electronically. There is a 48-hour delay to activate gift cards purchased online. Gift cards are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash.
Massages and spa services: Cancellations or modifications made within 48 hours of a services reservation will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Same day cancellation will be charged the full price.
Cancelling, Modifying or Changing Appointments
PLEASE NOTE: Our cancellation policy is in full effect for all bookings regardless of circumstances.
A minimum of 72 hours notice of cancellation or change is appreciated. However, if less than 48 hours notice of cancellation or change to your appointment is given, a 50% fee of the service price will be charged to compensate for the loss of time that was reserved. This applies to all spa packages and services booked. If it is a NO SHOW 100% of the service will be charged.
For groups reserving 10 (or more) hours of service, we require 7 days notification to cancel or change, or the 50% cancellation fee will apply. Due to the scheduling of our staff and clients, we must strictly adhere to this policy under any circumstance.
SPECIAL NOTE: Due to the evolving nature of the global pandemic & possible provincial emergency orders that may restrict business operations, Terra Nova Nordic Spa reserves the right to cancel and/or refund future bookings, if necessary.
I have a reservation, what time should I check-in?
Guests who have reserved a Thermal Experience visit or Spa Service should refer to their email confirmation for specific check-in times and important information about their visit. Late arrivals might not be rescheduled. Guests who are late for their Spa Service will impact the amount of allotted time for their treatment.

We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes in advance. Arriving late will impact the amount of allotted time for your service.
Is there a time limit to enjoy the Thermal Experience?
We will guarantee 3 hours. If the Nordic Thermal Experience is not fully booked you are welcome to stay as long as 8pm. It is important to know that guests do not have in-and-out privileges.
Can I cancel/modify my treatment reservation without paying a fee?
Yes, when you telephone more than 48 hours before your treatment appointment. For cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, 50% of the cost of your treatment will be taken from your credit card. 100% of the cost of the treatment will be charged for any same day cancellations.
Can we make a reservation for the café?
Reservations are not required at our café. It is recommended for larger group and High Tea.
What type of food is served at the café?
Baked goods and various soups and sandwiches.
Can we eat on site? Is it possible to bring your own lunch?
At Terra Nova Nordic Spa & Café we are proud to be able to provide you with a variety of food and beverages made right here on-site and with locally sourced products. To complement your experience we do offer a special High Tea experience which you can book in advance. Please note other than water no outside food or beverages are permitted on site.

Do we need to book ahead of time for the spa pass?
We recommend that you book your Nordic Thermal in advance because we allow only a limited number of guests present in our Thermal Experience at any one time in order to preserve the quality of the guest experience. So before coming, please check if there are some spa passes available for the day you planned to come.
To eat at Terra Nova Café, should I be fully clothed or just wear a bathrobe?
Our café welcomes everyone. If you are visiting our Thermal Experience feel free to enter our café in your robe, however, NO swim suites alone are permitted outside of the Thermal area in respect of all our spa guests.
Is it possible to leave the spa and then return later in the day to continue enjoying the Nordic Thermal Experience?
Please note that guests do not have in-and-out privileges for the Nordic Spa Experience.
How can I use my Terra Nova Nordic Spa & Café gift card?
Gift certificates (or gift cards) bought online or at Terra Nova Nordic do not have an expiration date. If you wish to book a massage or one of our Spa Services please contact us at 1-226-796-9181.
