Begin your experience with warming up your body, whether you choose our wood-fired sauna, eucalyptus steam room, or slipping into the hot pool. This will increase your circulation, melt the tension from your muscles and expel the toxins from your body! After approximately 15 minutes of heat, chill in our cooling stations to constrict blood vessels, reduce swelling and inflammation, stabilize blood pressure, and relieve muscle spasms. The chilling releases endorphins, improving mood and energy. A regular cold plunge can even help with building resilience and discipline!
Now that you have gone from hot to cold it is important to take some time to relax around the fire, in the teepee or a lounge chair, and allow all that goodness to sink in and do its work as well as give your body’s systems a chance to reset! Repeat as needed! Be sure to hydrate during and after your thermal experience. Etiquette: Please be mindful of those wanting quiet! Keeping your voice at a whisper is encouraged. Remember we are a NON-JUDGMENTAL, inclusive environment!
